Westbury Partners is a leading provider of flexible preferred equity
and subordinated debt capital. Since its founding in 1995, Westbury
Partners has been creatively structuring multi-layered investments
which provide value-added capital to privately owned, emerging
growth companies in an array of high-growth, complex markets.
Westbury manages several pools of capital and is currently deploying
Westbury Investment Partners SBIC, L.P., a private equity fund of
approximately $200 million, licensed as a Small Business Investment
Company.
Typically, Westbury serves as lead investor or active participant,
partnering with experienced, like-minded firms. Westbury supports
proven, successful teams that are managing businesses with
predictable revenue streams; expanding markets; existing or
near-term profitability; and discernible competitive advantages.
Long-established as opportunistic investors, we focus on businesses
that possess strong organic growth potential and are operating in
large markets with significant scope. Existing portfolio companies
encompass a broad range of industries, including: national defense
and security; information technology; enterprise software;
training/education; outsourcing; and specialty manufacturing.
Westbury's team of experienced private equity professionals is led
by Joseph G. Fogg III, James W. Schubauer II and Richard P. Sicoli.
Working together as Partners since Westbury’s inception, we have
been successfully leading Westbury’s initiative through several
diverse and unprecedented investment cycles and environments. We are
value-added investors, providing financial and strategic guidance to
our portfolio companies without intruding on management’s ability to
effectively execute an established operating plan. Our structuring
skills have been developed over a sustained period of working
creatively with management teams and co-investors alike, while
tailoring our investments to reflect the specific metrics driving
the growth and value appreciation potential of each opportunity.
Westbury is committed to working closely with portfolio company
management teams as well as our co-investors, striving to identify
and broaden the optimum path to value creation and realization. We
actively seek opportunities that provide the basis to offer
strategic capital - not merely to participate in financings
necessary to meet a company's near-term cash needs. By providing
insight and guidance, in addition to capital, we support enterprises
as they face the challenges of significantly expanding their scope
of operations. Specifically, we assist companies with various
strategic issues such as long-term planning, acquisitions,
subsequent debt and equity financings, as well as director and
senior executive recruitment. We also bring to bear substantial
expertise and contacts that have proven invaluable in working with
management to enhance operations and optimize liquidity options.
Governing all aspects of our investment activity is a deep sense of
integrity and responsibility, a standard upon which we place the
highest priority. This approach to investing creates long-term
sustainable value for our portfolio companies and has resulted in
superior returns to our investors.
