About
Westbury Partners
Since its founding in 1994, Westbury Partners has been providing value-added
capital to privately owned, emerging growth companies. Westbury manages
several private equity funds and is currently deploying Westbury Equity
Partners SBIC, L.P., a $150 million private equity fund licensed as
a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC).
Typically, Westbury invests $3 to $9 million per transaction as lead
investor or participant, partnering with experienced, like-minded
firms. Westbury's investment philosophy and approach are functions
of both the general macro-economic environment as well as recent global
uncertainty. Operating models and attendant valuations are now of
an entirely new order and realities of the financial markets necessitate
that growth capital investing incorporate a focus on near-term profitable
expansion. This has always been Westbury's approach and we believe
the current market makes our strategy more relevant than ever.
Westbury
supports proven, successful teams managing businesses with predictable
revenue streams; expanding markets; existing or clear paths to profitability;
and defensible competitive advantages such as proprietary technology.
Though opportunistic investors, we focus on market segments which
are large and possess strong organic growth potential. Existing portfolio
companies encompass a broad range of industries, including the following
sectors: information technology, enterprise software, training/education,
outsourcing, and niche manufacturing.
Westbury's team of experienced private equity professionals is led
by Joseph G. Fogg III, James W. Schubauer II and Richard P. Sicoli.
All have extensive backgrounds in both principal investing and investment
banking. We are committed to working closely with management and our
co-investors, creating the optimum path to value creation and realization.
We are value-added investors, providing financial and strategic guidance
to our portfolio companies without intruding on managements
control of operations.
Westbury's
primary objective is to generate superior returns for our limited
partners. We apply our collective experience and expertise in assisting
management teams to build industry-leading enterprises.
